Hazel E Grossman

Hazel E. Grossman, age 91, of Grove City, formerly of Harrisville, passed away at 12:10 P.M. Thursday July 27, 2006 at Grove City Medical Center. She was born August 25, 1914 in Butler County. She was the daughter of the late Lewis P. Twentier and Mary Brown Twentier. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Grove City. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Wendell(Mary)Watson of Slippery Rock, Mrs. Mae Allison of Slippery Rock, Mrs. Gary(Lucille)Heeter of Harrisville, Mrs. Kenneth (Genevieve)Stitt of Mercer and Mrs. Jay (Barbara) Bicehouse of Harrisville. Eleven grandchildren, Mrs. James(Debbie)Neyman, Mrs. Dan(Patti)Pink, Mrs. Ron(Cindy)Taggart, Rick and Becky Allison, Mrs. Carl(Brenda)Shilling, Bill and Denise Heeter,Gary Earl Heeter, Kenneth and Laura Stitt, Jr., Timothy and Marion Stitt, Mrs. Keith(Melinda)Lenkner and Mrs. Mel(Denise) McCleary, nineteen great grandchildren, Stacie Sespico, Shannon Bolibruck, Travis Taggart, Jessica McConnell, Jimmy McConnell, Jared McFadden, Jacob Shilling, Alex Shilling, Abraham Allison, Abigal Allison, Susanne Vozar, Sara Heeter, Madeline McCleary, Mitchell McCleary, Chloe Lenkner, Will Lenkner, Summer Stitt, Ashley Stitt, and Sami Stitt, five great great grandchildren, Emily Sespico, Nate Sespico, Noah Sespico, Joey Sespico, and Eli Bolibruck, two sisters, Mrs. Leona Styers of Butler, and Mrs. Daniel(Mildred)McDeavitt, of Slippery Rock and one brother, Clyde Twentier of Butler also survive. Preceded in death by her husband, Earl “Mossie” Grossman, who passed away April 8, 1993, one daughter, Ruth Jean Grossman, one great granddaughter, Skylar Stitt, one sister, Irene Space and two brothers, Kenneth Twentier and Floyd Twentier and one son-in-law, Lee Allison. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Sunday July 30, 2006 at the William F Young Funeral Home, 132 Main Street, West Sunbury. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday July 31, 2006 at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Shaughnessy, her pastor officiating. Burial will be in the Muddycreek Cemetery.
