Doris Marie Namesnik

Doris Marie Namesnik, 90, of Butler, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021 at Altenheim Senior Living in Strongsville, OH. She was born March 12, 1931 in Butler County, the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (McGregor) Ekis. Doris graduated from the original West Sunbury High School. She retired after 35 years of service at Penn Champ. Doris was a member of Springdale Lutheran Church. She enjoyed going out to lunch with friends and family, helping with church dinners and bake sales. Surviving are her son, Stephen J. (Angela) Namesnik of Brunswick, OH; her grandchildren, Chelsey Namesnik, Amanda (Brian) Alley, Nicholas (Erin) Dugan, Tiffany (Edward) Slaven and Charles (Daniella) Stefanski; great grandchildren, Krysten Mauthe, Arianna Namesnik, Landon & Savannah Slaven and Cameron Stefanski; her two sisters, Patricia Snyder of Butler and Ruth Palmer of Grove City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sons, Gary J. Namesnik and Dennis A. Namesnik, a granddaughter, Jennifer Mauthe, her brother and his wife and 2 brothers-in-law. Friends will be received at Young Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 2-4 & 6PM until the time of service at 8PM.
