Linda LaRue Campbell

October 3, 1945 - April 15, 2015

Linda LaRue Campbell, 69, of Gilbert, AZ, formerly of Butler, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in Arizona. She was born October 3, 1945 in Kittanning, PA, the daughter of the late Richard Gilbert Allen and LaRue (Griffin) Allen. Linda was dedicated to her family and was very active in the Spina Bifida Association due to her love for her daughter, Debi. She loved her dog, Patches. Linda was a former member of North Main Street Church of God and was a graduate of Butler High School class of 1963. Linda was an avid baker but her true joy was in sharing with others. Surviving are her husband whom she married September 26, 1964, Richard A. Campbell of Gilbert, AZ; a daughter, Debra J. Campbell of Chandler, AZ; a son, Richard R. (Raquel) Campbell of Anthem, AZ; 3 grandchildren, Amy, Ambre and Richard E. Campbell all of Arizona; a sister, Diana K. (Bill) Sloan of Butler; 2 brothers, John G. Allen of Butler and Terry L. (Mary) Allen of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at Young Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Thursday, April 30th from 2-4 & 6-8PM. Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 1st at 11 AM with Eric Rieger officiating. Interment in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
