Mark G. Haid

Mark G. Haid, 70, of West Sunbury, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022 at Glade Run Lake Boat Launch in Valencia, PA. He was born November 30, 1951 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of the late Regis Haid and Elizabeth (Miller) Haid. Mark was a journeyman painter having worked for Dept. of Welfare and retiring from Polk State Hospital. He loved fishing and being with family and friends. He enjoyed watching fishing and travel shows on TV. Surviving are his wife, Ila Lombardo of 33 years; son, Josh Haid of Pittsburgh, granddaughter, Brooke Lynn Haid; 2 sisters, Diane Reddington of Pittsburgh and Jill (Mike) Vasos of Pittsburgh; brother, Gregg (Ginnie) Haid of Pittsburgh, sister in law, Laura Haid of Oregon; brother in laws, Roger (Edie) Lombardo of Broadview Heights, OH and Dave (Norma) Lombardo of Pittsburgh, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Neal Haid. Friends will be received at Young Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 1-3 & 5- 7PM. Memorial service will be held at the West Sunbury Church of Nazarene, on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 11 AM with Pastor Tim Britton officiating. Private burial. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to West Sunbury Church of the Nazarene, 542 Halston Rd., West Sunbury, PA 16061.
