Nelson Robert Jendza, 24, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at his residence. He was born January 20, 1992 in Edison, NJ, the son of David F. Jendza and Bobbi Johnston of Butler. Nelson had worked at the WalMart in the Butler Commons as a cashier. He was a 2010 Butler High School graduate where he had attended Butler VoTech and had been a ROTC member. Nelson loved history, especially reading about WWII. Surviving are his parents, David F. Jendza and Bobbi Johnston of Butler; his maternal grandmother, Marion Johnston of Pittsburgh; and his sister and brother, Lindsey and Tyler Jendza, of Butler. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Private services.
