Patrick J. Nevel, 45, died Dec. 13 of natural causes in Katy, Texas. Born Aug. 12, 1970, Patrick graduated from Butler High School in 1989. He worked at ITxM, the Institute for Transfusion Medicine, as a system and security engineer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phyllis J. Nevel and Thomas S. Nevel; his paternal and maternal grandparents; and an infant brother. He is survived by his brother, Thomas R. (Tracey) Nevel of Renfrew; his sisters, Tawnie S. Nevel and Polly (Shaun) Walker of Katy, Texas; his nephews, Joseph D. Huf and Nathan (Tiffany) Huf; his nieces, Teeya (Cole) Vogtman, all of Katy, Texas, and Jennifer A. Nevel of Renfrew. NEVEL - Memorial service for Patrick J. Nevel, who died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015 will be held at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 3:30 PM with Rev. Dr. Curt McDaniel officiating.
