Ralph L. Henry, 77, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at VNA Inpatient Hospice. He was born January 21, 1937 in Butler, the son of the late Clifford and Virginia (Brewster) Henry. Ralph was an avid bowler and was a member of the Butler County Bowling Association's Hall of Fame. He retired from Armco. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching sports and most all spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Shirley (Christie) Henry of Butler; a daughter, Deborah (Daniel) Mikula of West Sunbury; 2 sons, Ron (Tammy) Henry of Renfrew and Charles Henry of Pittsburgh; 5 granddaughters, Amanda (Dustin) Hemphill, Alison (Jason) Bouse, Chamar Henry and Ashley and Abby Henry. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Kevin James Henry, 2 sisters, Ruth Dollar and Dolores Henry and 2 brothers, James and Ray Henry. Friends will be received at Young Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9PM. Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, October 11th at 11AM. Interment in the Mt. Chestnut Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Ralph's memory to the VNA Inpatient Hospice, 115 Technology Dr., Butler, PA 16001.
