William L. Eagal, 72, of Butler, PA, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Butler Memorial Hospital. He was born June 14, 1944 in Butler, PA, the son of the late Dewey and Ruth (McGeary) Eagal. Bill was a member of North Street Christian Church. He had been the head steel pourer at AK Steel retiring in 2003. He also worked at Giant Eagle for 10 years. He loved playing the lottery and was a lifelong fan of Elvis and John Wayne and a classic car enthusiast. He was a Vietnam Army veteran. Surviving are 3 daughters, Molly (Ken) Shumaker of Haines City, FL, Melany (Andrew) Wenneker of Cardington, OH, and Mindy Eagal of Butler, 2 grandchildren, August Wenneker and Clarissa Shumaker, a sister, June Eagal of Scottsdale, AZ, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou (O'Day) Eagal who died August 6, 2002, 3 sisters, 1 brother, and his 2 dogs, Dixie and Mason. Private service and burial.
